The series was first serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from July 8, 2009 to March 17, 2013 and collected in 15 tankōbon volumes. The story follows Eren Yeager, his adoptive sister Mikasa Ackerman, their friend Armin Arlert and their companions in the 104th Training Corps as they attempt to defend the last safe city on Earth from a monstrous race of giants called the Titans.
